I am an Oakland, California-based consultant with over 20 years of management experience. I specialize in nonprofit executive transitions, particularly interim executive director roles and executive search.

My clients span a wide range of causes, sizes, and business models. I have been an interim director at seven different organizations working on causes including: the environment, education, homeless services, seniors/healthy aging, and the performing arts.

Previously, I served as the executive director of a nationally recognized nonprofit chamber music ensemble, co-founded a small business providing youth performing arts training, and provided fundraising and management consulting to a variety of nonprofit clients.

I have a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature from U.C. Berkeley, and have studied board leadership and nonprofit financial stewardship with the Harvard Kennedy School.

Past volunteering highlights include serving as board chair of Leap, and performing for five seasons with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
